Grounded 0.7.0 February Content Update is now available on Xbox and PC, focuses on building

Grounded is maintaining its monthly update cadency with the 0.7.0 February Content Update, rolling out to players of Grounded'due south early access today. The new update features the usual wave of quality-of-life improvements, fixes, and more. The content side of things is all about building, this month, with new craftable edifice parts and enhancements to how building works in the game.

Grounded's Jan Content Update was great, and added exciting new flying insects, but it's squeamish to see the Grounded team focus on the fundamentals of building and survival in this release.

If you want to play Grounded, it's currently available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Windows, and Xbox Game Pass. Obsidian Entertainment has a corking game on its hand, and it's certainly one of the Best Survival Games for Xbox. New features

New crafting content

  • Added Stair Railing: Sprig Railing, Acorn Railing
  • New Stairs Added: Acorn Spiral Stairs
  • New Scaffolding: Bracket Scaffold
  • New Floors Added: Grass Half-Floors and Weed Stem Floors
  • New Item: Firefly Hanging Lantern
  • New Item: Wall-mounted Zipline Anchor
  • New Detail: Shinobi Sneeze, a fume-screen escape item
  • Mounted Head Trophies tin now be crafted for all of the flying creatures: Mosquitos, Fireflies, and Bees

Boosted features

    • Hunger Penalty caps your max stamina at 50%
    • Thirst Punishment reduces your stamina regen
  • Repair Recipes have been reworked:
    • Armor Glues have been removed
    • Armors now have ~20% of their initial ingredients to repair
    • Weapons now take 1 quartzite + a minimal amount of their initial ingredients to repair
  • Gas Masks at present accept immovability impairment in gas hazards

Combat

  • Bandages at present heal much more HP, just over a much longer period of time
  • Mosquito Needle has the life-steal ability slightly decreased
  • Bees at present take two additional attacks
  • When you lot are wielding both a shield and a bottle, the Block input will both drink from the canteen and block
  • Weevil shield immovability doubled
  • Bratburst and Splatburst deal more than impairment
  • Pollen Shot now adds slightly more than stun impairment to bow attacks

Interface

  • Lasting (applied by gear or mutations) and temporary status effects appear in the Status UI

World

  • Interacting with a dropped backpack will now instantly do a loot-all activeness. If any items are withal leftover considering your inventory is full, then the dropped back UI will open
  • Removed the pre-placed zipline anchors from the pigment can and the oak tree lamp
  • Thistle plants have been reworked:
    • Thorns are now harvested directly instead of requiring a hit with an axe

Buildings

    • A final mesh has been created
    • The recipe has been changed to friction match the new mesh
    • Sap Dripper is now properly considered a wall-mounted building for placement purposes
    • Placement should exist a lot more lenient, allowing easier and more than consequent placing
    • Item will now spawn 1 sap every v hours and tin can hold up to 5 sap in total (previously spawned 1 sap every 24 hours)

Crafting

  • Berry Chunks tin at present be stale into berry leather on the Hasty Rack

Creatures

  • Larva will now explore a larger surface area of the backyard

  • Stock-still salve game screenshots sometimes looking corrupt
  • Stock-still "Toggle Hunker" option sometimes not saving and taking effect

Game

  • State-only buildings can no longer be placed on water in sure situations
  • Buildings such as Fences and Ramps will no longer snap strangely to subsequent buildings
  • The underside of a Buoyant Foundation can no longer support other structures
  • Palisades will no longer be invalid when placed on some rock surfaces
  • Diagonal walls at 90-degree angles will now support each other
  • Walls will no longer randomly lose crenellations when loading a save
  • Fixed a few cases where snapped structures might be incorrectly detected as invalid

  • Fixed sleeping creatures teleporting on clients later they've been woken upwards (most visible if you wake upward a Wolf Spider from sleeping)
  • Reduced the annoyingness of gnats

UI

  • The camera will no longer start in first-person when loading a salve in which the player was gliding or zipping
  • "Inventory Full" will no longer be misleadingly displayed when trying to booty an item while swimming
  • Fixed some scrolling and brandish issues in the "Recipes Used In" section on the Crafting screen

Sound

  • 'Theft in progress' SFX played upon opening the UI while in combat has been replaced with new SFX
  • SCA.B crying almost hunger and thirst will play a specific sound for each instead of a single sound for both

Xbox

  • Stock-still audio issues after suspend / resume

Steam

  • Logging into an Xbox Live account that was previously logged into with a different Steam account volition no longer fail the login step
  • Removed HDR tab from the Options screen

Microsoft Shop
